The name Poison Politix came from a 2006 CNN news headline, influencing the way many of our songs still today point out political turmoil and disorder.

Our style can best be described as raw, high-energy 1970’s punk rock with influences such as The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Stooges and The Dead Boys.
